“C’est pour mieux te manger” – chap 3, is a scenographic installation that mixes realism and enchantment through the diversion of everyday objects, finding its essence in an iconography strongly linked to the art of the table, folk tales and the world of entertainment. The installation, presented in October 2019 at the Commines space, questions our relationship to food, both physical and emotional, but today it resonates in a disturbing way with our current events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Franco-Tunisian artist, trained at the Marseille School of Fine Arts, Nadou Fredj mainly focuses her creations on the theme of childhood. Coming from a family of restaurateurs, she draws her inspiration from an iconography strongly linked to the food industry. Her plastic work questions personal identity across cultural and social barriers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
