“Rue de l’Esp\u00e9rance”, glance after glance, leads us into a free zone. More than eighty images constitute the project, they draw like the cobblestones of a pavement, a path in which the visionary character and expressive maturity of Riccarda Montenero, confront and spread together. The series is dense with iconographic and linguistic references which – to give just two examples – range from plastic photography to surrealism. Even the titles of the works stimulate the viewer’s imagination, a sort of invitation to the game of the “exquisite corpse”. In the works, drawings pass through, bodies are arranged, chromatisms appear. Each element, scientifically arranged in the space of representation, appears resolute but unpronounceable: it is a secret, of the artist and ours, which will remain as such.<\/gwmw><\/p>\n\n\n\n
